A few things to know.

Will this work on my iPhone?

You can use the screen light, sounds and tasks in a compatible browser while the page is visible and the screen stays unlocked. iPhone Safari does not support web vibration. Keep-awake may work, but it does not turn this into a system alarm. Always test on your own phone and use a regular alarm as backup.

Can I lock my phone or switch apps?

No. This browser version needs to stay visible. If the page is hidden, the session is cancelled, including the follow-up check. Reloading or closing the page also cancels it. The app cannot switch on a locked screen or guarantee background alarms.

Will the task prove that I am awake?

No. A completed task only shows that you entered the answer. The room-code option does not track your location, and the check-in records only your tap during this session. These are optional prompts, not a guarantee that you will stay awake. You can always stop the session or close the page.

How long does the alarm ring?

The first alarm stops when you complete the task, tap “I’m up” with no task selected, or stop the session. Without a response, it ends after 10 minutes. A follow-up alarm ends after confirmation or after 5 minutes without a response. The demo uses shorter waiting times and times out if left unanswered.

Can it make my screen brighter or my phone vibrate harder?

The light setting changes the displayed colours, not the screen’s hardware brightness. Vibration uses a repeating pulse pattern where supported; it cannot increase the physical strength of your phone’s motor. Device settings can also block sound or vibration.

Are my settings or answers stored?

No. This version keeps your settings, task answers and code in the current page only. They disappear when you reload or close it. There is no account, sleep tracking or automatic alarm restoration. Read our privacy information.
